![]() There is an old Japanese saying: 'Bujutsu shogei no chichihaha wa taijutsu nari.' Translated it suggests that 'Tai-Jutsu is the mother and father of all martial arts.' Tai-Jutsu is a relatively unknown martial art of the Koryu (old arts) and literally means 'Body Art' or more commonly 'Body Movement.' Its techniques rely on the science of body movements and use grappling, evasion and striking skills to generate a complete style for combat.

The best way to understand Tai-Jutsu is to get involved and see how effective it is for yourself. The sessions welcome newcomers at any time throughout the year, so do not feel as though you have to wait for the start of a new year to begin, you can start at any time.
